PERIFÉRNE CENTRÁ is a Slovak civic association which aims to bring art and culture outside zenith of cultural and economic centers, at the same time that provides mutual interaction and exchange experiences between local people and invited artists. In the middle of 2016 we moved into "new" spaces, to the building of the former kindergarten in Dúbravica, where we began to realize cultural centre Škôlka. Our aim is not only the renovated building but also a new life in it. Already during the first months of its functioning we hosted summer art camp, artists in residencies, organized workshops for kids and youth and art students, we began to build a garden amfitheater and basement workshop. And there will be more.
Podporujeme kultúrny pohyb mimo preferovaných centier. Objavujeme nové priestory pre umenie, prispievame k starostlivosti o životné prostredie, krajinu, historiu. V polovici roka 2016 sme vstúpili do „nových“ priestorov, do budovy bývalej materskej školy v Dúbravici a začali tu zriaďovať kultúrne centrum Škôlka. Naším zámerom nie je len obnovená budova, ale aj nový život v nej. Už počas prvých mesiacov jej prevádzky sme tu hostili letný art camp, umelcov na rezidenciách, organizovali workshopy pre deti a mládež aj študentov umenia, začali sme so stavbou záhradného amfiteátra, začali zriaďovať dielňu v suteréne. A bude toho ešte viac.
